Don’t pretend like you haven’t watched, nor asked the question.

It’s 2025 and if one show has touched on the collective zeitgeist (a planet-engulfing existential evil on the march, combined with a delusional hope we can turn the tide through song, girl-power, and reliably banging K-pop earworms), it is K-Pop Demon Hunters.  Even if you are not the parent of a tween who demands you do so, you should absolutely fall down the candy-colored rabbit hole that is this show. You’ve got plenty of cover too: K-Pop Demon Hunters is now the most-watched movie in Netflix history. And if you’ve been sucked into the show’s hero’s journey (a tale as old as time that involves saving humanity from demons through synchronized choreography and killer vocals), you've probably found yourself wondering just which member of HUNTR/X you'd be.

So, without further ado, let’s jump into the Myers & Briggs personality types of the film. If you want to check your own type before you get started so you can see which member of HUNTR/X or Saja Boys (shudder) you’d be, you can take Truity’s free TypeFinder® test based on Myers Briggs theory here.

Will Rumi finally achieve the Golden Honmoon and free herself? Can Zoey overcome her self-doubt to find where she truly belongs? Will Mira's blunt honesty be the key to keeping the team together? And what about those devilishly angular and charming Saja Boys—are they friend or foe? If you read on, please know there may be spoilers as we break down the personality psychology of the characters fighting to save or destroy the world—all while somehow hitting that A5 note.

So, if you've ever wondered what K-Pop Demon Hunters character you'd be based on your Myers and Briggs personality type, grab your light stick and let's go!

Rumi Kang: The Teacher (ENFJ)

"I'm good at reading people, what are YOU hiding?" — Rumi

As an ENFJ, you are Rumi Kang, the magnetic leader of HUNTR/X whose epic high notes and Beyonce-like moves are literally holding the human race together. ENFJs are idealist organizers, driven to implement their vision of what is best for humanity. They are focused on how they can help others grow and are led by their deep empathy and altruism, and are powerful team builders. They often act as catalysts for human growth because of their ability to see potential in other people—even when they're secretly wrestling with their own demons (literally, in Rumi's case).

Like Rumi, you have an uncanny ability to read the room, whether it's a stadium full of screaming fans or the tense silence before a demon attack. Your emotional intelligence is off the charts, allowing you to sense what others need before they even know it themselves. This makes you an incredible leader, but it also means you often sacrifice your own well-being for others.

ENFJs are driven by a singular vision of making the world better. For Rumi, that vision is the Golden Honmoon—the ultimate collective musical force that will free her from her half-demon nature and save humanity. Like Rumi, you probably have a tendency to hide your struggles behind a perfect smile, believing that showing vulnerability might burden those you're trying to protect.

Your charisma is undeniable—you light up any stage you're on, whether literal or metaphorical. But beneath that spotlight-ready exterior, ENFJs like you often struggle with the fear that you're not enough, that if people saw the real you (demon patterns and all), they might reject you. This is why Rumi keeps her true nature hidden even from her closest friends.

Like Rumi practicing until her voice cracks, ENFJs will push themselves past their limits for their vision. You believe in the power of unity and harmony so deeply that you'll endure almost anything to achieve it. Just remember: even protagonists need to let others save them sometimes.

Zoey Jo-i: The Champion (ENFP)

"Who would write in my yearbook? Maybe they're nice guys!" — Zoey (about literal demons)

Like Zoey, you're an ENFP—the spark of creativity and optimism that keeps everyone's spirits up, even when facing supernatural doom. ENFPs are people-centered creators with a focus on possibilities and a contagious enthusiasm for new ideas, people and activities. Energetic, warm and passionate, Champions like you love to help other people explore their creative potential—even if those people happen to be demons in disguise.

You share Zoey's gift for seeing the world through rainbow-colored glasses. Where others see threats, you see potential for connection. Where others see impossibility, you see "but what if we tried this?" This makes you the creative heartbeat of any group, constantly generating new ideas and perspectives that others might miss.

ENFPs like you often struggle with feeling like you're "too much" for some people and "not enough" for others. It’s a tension Zoey knows well as someone caught between cultures and never quite fitting perfectly into either. Your notebooks are probably full of half-finished projects, song lyrics or random inspirations that seemed brilliant at 2 AM (and probably some of them were).

Like Zoey getting distracted by cute Saja Boys when she should be demon hunting, you have a tendency to follow your heart before your head. Your Ne (Extraverted Intuition) is constantly pulling you toward new experiences and possibilities. This makes you spontaneous and fun, though sometimes your friends have to literally drag you back to focus on the mission at hand.

Despite, or maybe because of, your playful exterior, ENFPs have deep emotional cores. Zoey's lyrics reveal her inner world: the feeling of being split between worlds, the desire to belong, the fear of being misunderstood. Like her, you use creativity as both expression and armor, turning your deepest feelings into art that connects with others.

Mira: The Composer (ISFP)

"I'm good at reading people. I can tell when someone's hiding something." — Mira

As an ISFP like Mira, you're living proof that still waters run deep—and sometimes those waters are filled with a heavy dose of snark and righteous fire. ISFPs are gentle caretakers who live in the present moment and enjoy their surroundings. But Mira shows another side of the Composer: fierce, authentic and absolutely unwilling to tolerate fake behavior.

You share Mira's gift for reading people through subtle cues others miss. You catch it all—that slight change in someone's posture, the way their smile doesn't quite reach their eyes (we see you Tom Cruise). This makes you an incredible and perceptive friend who notices when something's wrong, but it also means you can't stand it when people try to deceive you or others.

Like Mira, you value authenticity above everything else. You'd rather be alone than surrounded by people who only like your mask. ISFPs are flexible and spontaneous, preferring to go with the flow. But when their values are threatened, they become immovable forces. Mira makes decisions based on deeply held personal values, which is why she won't hesitate to call out even her closest friends when she senses they're hiding something important.

Your Se (Extraverted Sensing) is your second cognitive function, and it’s the main way you take in information. Se makes you precise and present in the moment, whether that's nailing complex choreography as HUNTR/X's lead dancer or throwing knives backward over your head with perfect accuracy. You respond to situations with quick reflexes rather than long deliberation, which can make you seem impulsive but also incredibly effective in crisis.

ISFPs like you might come across as tough or sarcastic (Mira's sharp tongue is legendary), but underneath that edge is someone who cares deeply about protecting the people you love. When Rumi finally reveals her demon nature, Mira's acceptance proves that your loyalty runs deeper than your skepticism. You might question everything, but once someone earns your trust, you'll fight demons for them—literally or figuratively.

Celine: The Inspector (ISTJ)

"Our faults and fears must never be seen. That's the only way to protect the Honmoon!" — Celine

If you're an ISTJ like Celine, you're the backbone of tradition and discipline that keeps everything from falling apart. ISTJs are responsible organizers, driven to create and enforce order within systems and institutions. Former idol, current mentor and eternal guardian, you believe that structure, rules, and time-tested methods are what stand between order and chaos.

Like Celine, you probably have a deep respect for those who came before you. She carries the legacy of the Sunlight Sisters like a sacred trust, and you likely approach your own responsibilities with similar dedication. ISTJs don't just follow traditions blindly; you preserve them because you've seen their value proven over time.

The combination of Si (Introverted Sensing) and Te (Extraverted Thinking) makes you an excellent leader and teacher. Like Celine training HUNTR/X with strict but fair discipline, you hold others to high standards—but never higher than the ones you set for yourself. You communicate directly, value competence, and have little patience for excuses or emotional manipulation.

ISTJs like you show love through acts of service and protection, even if it doesn't always look warm and fuzzy. Celine adopted Rumi not just out of duty to her fallen friend Mi-yeong, but from genuine love—even if she expresses it through rigid rules and high expectations. Like her, you might struggle to show vulnerability, believing that maintaining strength and stability is how you keep your loved ones safe.

The challenge for ISTJs is flexibility. Celine's worldview is built on certainties: demons bad, hunters good, traditions sacred. When Rumi begins challenging these beliefs, Celine struggles to adapt. Like many ISTJs, you might find that your greatest growth comes from learning when to bend the rules—not breaking them, but recognizing that sometimes protecting what matters most means evolving how you protect it.

Bobby: The Provider (ESFJ)

"Are you girls okay? I brought snacks!" — Bobby (every time there's drama)

As an ESFJ like Bobby, you're the warm, steady presence that turns a group into a family. Sure, you’re not the main character in the film, but you are one step closer to the amazingly awesome comedian Ken Jeong who voices Bobby’s character. We actually don’t know what Ken Jeong’s personality type IRL is (other than obviously rad), but ESFJs are conscientious helpers, sensitive to the needs of others and energetically dedicated to their responsibilities. Part manager, part cheerleader, part team dad—you're the one making sure everyone's hydrated, fed and emotionally supported while they're out there saving the world.

ESFJs are masters of creating harmony and taking care of practical needs. Like Bobby keeping track of schedules, booking backup dancers, and somehow maintaining sanity in a world of demon attacks and low-blood sugar diva meltdowns, you thrive when you're making others' lives run smoothly. Your happiness genuinely comes from seeing your people succeed.

ESFJs lead with Fe (Extraverted Feeling), which makes you incredibly attuned to the emotional temperature of any room. When tensions rise, you're there with a joke, a snack or just the right word of encouragement. Bobby doesn't solve problems by strategizing against demons—he solves them by keeping morale high and ensuring everyone feels valued.

Like Bobby, you probably have a playful side that comes out in unexpected moments. Whether it's dancing along with Zoey, wearing ridiculous promotional costumes, or getting way too invested in fan ships, you know that sometimes the best way to support people is to make them laugh.

ESFJs can sometimes seem a bit oblivious to the bigger picture (Bobby's confusion about the supernatural stakes is endearing but sometimes concerning), but that's because you're focused on what you can control: making sure your people are okay right now, in this moment. You might not have a master plan to defeat all demons, but you'll make sure everyone has water bottles and encouragement when they need them most.

Jinu Saja: The Visionary (ENTP)

"Shall we play a game?" — Jinu (while literally fighting for the fate of humanity)

If you're an ENTP like Jinu, you're the clever trickster who can charm your way out of (or into) almost any situation. ENTPs are inspired innovators, motivated to find new solutions to intellectually challenging problems. Leader of the Saja Boys and master of misdirection, Jinu treats life like a game where the rules are more like suggestions and everything's more fun with a plot twist.

ENTPs thrive on possibility and intellectual stimulation. They are curious and clever, seeking to comprehend the people, systems and principles that surround them. Like Jinu turning a demon battle into a variety show-style competition just for kicks, you can't resist making things interesting. Why have a boring confrontation when you could have witty banter? Why tell the straight truth when a creatively edited version is so much more entertaining?

Your Ne (Extraverted Intuition) makes you impossible to pin down. One moment you're flirting shamelessly, the next you're orchestrating an elaborate scheme, and somehow you make both seem equally sincere. Like Jinu, you're always three moves ahead, but sometimes, even YOU don't know what those moves will be until you make them.

Beneath the charm and chaos, ENTPs like you are driven by logic—you just use it in creative ways. Jinu rationalizes his centuries-old demon pact as a logical choice given his circumstances. You probably have similar mental gymnastics routines that help you justify your more questionable decisions. "It made sense at the time" might as well be the ENTP motto.

The tragedy of the ENTP—and Jinu embodies this perfectly—is that all that clever deflection can become a prison. He uses that chiseled charm as armor, never letting anyone see the wounded boy beneath the demon marks. Like many ENTPs, you might find that your greatest challenge isn't outsmarting others, but being vulnerable enough to let someone truly know you. Sigh.

Missing from the Demon-Fighting Lineup

While K-Pop Demon Hunters gives us an amazing cast of characters, we couldn't spot any Architects (INTPs), Masterminds (INTJs), Counselors (INFJs), Healers (INFPs), Commanders (ENTJs), Supervisors (ESTJs), Dynamos (ESTPs), Performers (ESFPs), or Craftspersons (ISTPs) in the main cast. But who knows? Maybe they're waiting in the wings for Season 2, ready to bring their own unique demon-fighting styles to the stage.

So, Which Demon Hunter Are You?

Whether you're leading the charge like Rumi, spreading sunshine like Zoey, keeping it real like Mira, or charming your way through chaos like Jinu, every personality type brings something essential to the fight against demons (metaphorical or literal).

Yes, there’s magic in the stunning performances and supernatural battles. But what makes K-Pop Demon Hunters special is how these different personalities come together to challenge each other and ultimately create something more powerful than any of them could achieve alone. Sometimes the world needs a traditional guardian like Celine, and sometimes it needs someone to question everything like Mira. Sometimes you need Bobby's snacks and encouragement, and sometimes you need Rumi's vision to light the way forward.

So which member of the demon-hunting universe are you? And more importantly, would you rather save the world with sick choreography or deadly knife skills? (Honestly, why not both?)

Who knows—you might discover you've been harboring some hidden demon-fighting potential all along. Just remember: when the fate of humanity is on the line, every personality type has a part to play in the performance.
